My Seoul Photo Diary.

What I love most about my lifestyle out here is how easily I can visit neighbouring countries with their own unique culture. South Korea was one of these places I’d been dying to experience. For a while I’ve been fascinated by Korean culture. The skin care, the clean and environment driven thinking, K dramas! I felt it was now or never to visit.
Different from my itinerary posts, I felt it was best to document my Seoul journey in a diary form. I only like to make itineraries on places i’ve been to more than once. And since this is my first time, of course there’s so much more to be done, I’m sure I didn’t even scratch the surface. Although I gave it a good shot!

48 Hours In Hoi An

Hoi An is one of those places I could visit again and again and it would never lose its magic. Known for its ancient town, canals and architecture, its a town where “That’s so pretty” can be heard in an array of languages. I feel very lucky to have been able to visit 3 times so far and will be embarking on my 4th time in May when my friends Felix and Shiv visit.

I love revisiting places and seeking out the hidden spots I missed before, and believe me, there’s always hidden gems to be found in Vietnam. The landscape of cafe’s and restaurants change constantly, it’s hard to keep up with.

Continuing my series of bullet stop itineraries for the traveller or holiday makers looking to get the most out of their trip to Vietnam on a tight schedule. Here is the 48 hour Hoi An guide!

Skin Care empty’s – UK and Korean reviews.

My Empty’s of the month! Skin care is something I’m very passionate about as I’ve expressed in past posts. Today’s product reviews are of those from the UK and Korea. My aim with these ‘Empty’s’ posts is not just to review quality but to help decipher how worth they are to buy again. The 7 products listed are a mix of Korean High street to Premium Western brands, with surprising results from each.

A Love Letter To Valencia

When people think of Catalonia, their minds immediately wonder to the cosmopolitan beach city of Barcelona. As much as I also love Barcelona, having been many times, my true love lies with the charming city of Valencia. Unassuming and understated. A juxtaposition of pristine pink architecture and  gritty wall paint. The place that inspired my ongoing romance with travel and for that, I write this love letter to you. My Valencia.

Hanoi – Winter travel tips.

So, you chose the winter season to visit Hanoi? Maybe you didn’t read the weather forecast, or maybe you’re just a sadist. Whichever it is, you’ll find here my tips for visiting Hanoi in winter. Despite my disdain for grey weather, it does allow you to move about the city comfortably without feeling like you need air conditioning on you constantly. Hanoi is a bustling and fun city no matter the weather, there will always be plenty to do and see.

Korean inspired 10 Step Skincare Routine

I’ve always loved and respected the wonders of skin care. Ever since turning 13, like most teenagers, my skin became a constant problem all the way up into my early 20’s. By now you may have heard of the 10 step Korean skincare routine. I felt living in Hanoi made my skin a little dull, so in pursuit of that ‘Glass skin’ look, I’d seen on so many beauty K Pop artists I decided to try the 10 steps out. After researching the ingredients, I realised I could still use my Western products and just fill in the gaps where needed. I’ve been sticking to this routine for a month now and the results are pretty amazing.
